Who it's for

Trainees & Residents

A corridor-ready
NMC-format logbook.

Track progress against NBE category minimums. Auto-saving drafts mean a pre-op rush never costs you a case. One-tap export when it's time for viva.

Practitioners

A case portfolio,
not a spreadsheet.

Before-and-after photo timelines, multi-hospital case management, export-ready portfolio PDFs for credentialing and referrals.

A guided flow
that pauses when you do.

Patient details, diagnosis, procedure, intra-op, outcome — captured in the order you think about them. Every tap auto-saves a draft. Hit a code-blue mid-entry? Close the browser. The case is on your dashboard when you return.

  • 01Auto-saving drafts — never lose a case to a pre-op rush.
  • 02Photos & videos inline — investigation, intra-op, histopath, consent.
  • 03Specialty-aware fields — plastic flap type, endoscopy scope, SGE approach.

Your data, yours alone

Row-level security on every row. Your cases are cryptographically scoped to your account — no other surgeon, not even staff, can query them.

Indian region storage

Database and photo storage in Mumbai (ap-south-1). DPDP-aligned by default. No data leaves the country.

NMC & NBE formats

Logbook PDF ships in NBE-recognised structure — chronological case table plus a category-summary page for viva submission.

Questions

Before you
sign in.

Is my patient data private?

Yes. Cases and photos are stored per user with row-level security — no one else in the app can see your data, not even other signed-in surgeons. Storage is in an Indian region (Mumbai) for DPDP Act alignment. Photos are in a private bucket; only your authenticated requests generate signed URLs.

Does it work on my phone?

SuperDoc is mobile-first. It runs entirely in the browser — nothing to install, no App Store, no Play Store. Add to Home Screen on iOS or Android and it behaves like an app. Works on any hospital network.

How much does it cost?

Free. There is no paid tier, no trial, no hidden fees. The tool is free because it should be — building it cost me weekends, not salary. If you find it useful, tell a colleague in your programme.

Can I export my logbook for NBE / NMC submission?

Yes. One-tap PDF export in the NBE logbook format (trainees) or case portfolio format (practitioners). Cases are chronological with procedure, diagnosis, role, outcome, attending — plus a category-summary page. Printable.

What if I get pulled away mid-entry?

Tap "Save & continue later" and the draft lands on your dashboard under In Progress. Pick it back up from any device. The form remembers every field, including uploaded photos that have not been attached yet.

Which specialties are supported?

General Surgery (MS / DNB), Plastic Surgery (MCh), DrNB Surgical Gastroenterology, and DrNB Medical Gastroenterology. Each has its own procedure taxonomy, case entry flow, and export format. Orthopaedics, ENT, and Obs & Gyn are on the roadmap.

Your logbook,
done right.

Thirty seconds to onboard. One tap to log your first case. Nothing to install.
